Organization Rules & Standards
Player Rules:
Will maintain grade average of 75% or will be placed on academic probation.
Will wear FULL uniforms for games.
Will wear baseball pants, CLEATS, and hats during practices.
Will make 90% of team practices unless approved by coaches.
Will be responsible for their own equipment.
Will NOT have electronics on the field.
Will participate in fundraising (as this is extra money for them).
Will assist, when possible, to do Expos community Service, Example: (Student Coach Program) assists with LL not just younger expo teams.
Arrive 15min prior to practice start time if possible.
Parents/Fan Rules:
Stay away from the dugout and players during games, one warning given, second time player will sit rest of the game.
No arguing with Umpires, other parents, or coaches, our coaches will handle it.
Just sit back and enjoy watching your kid play.
Please RSVP to games and practice at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Coaches:
If your kid plays on an Expo team, remember you are a parent at the game and subject to the parents’ rules.
Will participate in Expos community Service.
Will Participate in Fundraisers.
Field & Dugout Rules:
Only Players and Coaches of THAT SPECIFIC TEAM are to be in the dugout, unless requested by that team’s Head Coach. Exceptions: Owner & Media Staff (as directed).
Players and coaches will clean up the dugout & Field before leaving.
Standards:
We are dedicated to the kids and will give them our best, the staff are always looking to improve the organization. We encourage honest feedback from parents and players; it helps us grow into a better origination.
No outside GUEST players, if a player is needed, they must be from expos practice squad or an age eligible player from one of our teams.
Playing Time is determined by players attitude, performance, & school grades.
Players on other teams must make expos practices or playing time will be limited. Exceptions: School Sports, Student Coaches fulfilling their coaching obligations, & Little League All Stars or Little League Tournament Team (Example MIT).
Only two ways to become an Expo: Tryouts or the Practice Squad, Squad players get roster spots before players who tryout.
Committed to Community Service, helping with Little Leagues in the Ocean County area.
No favoritism is to be shown by any coaches, favoritism shown results in a warning second offense coach is removed.
Coaches’ priority must be on player development.
Fighting with teammates, coaches, umpires, & parents by any player will result in a game suspension.
If suspended from school, players will be suspended from the expos until they return to school.
Parents may request suspension for their child for disciplinary reasons.
Family Emergencies, Illness, or Injuries will always be excused, regardless of time away players playing time shall not be affected.
We will not exceed more than 4 teams in the organization.
Teams:
Sr. Expos: Tournaments Only (Note: showcases are earned)
Int. Expos: League & Tournaments
Jr. Expos: League & Tournaments
Expos SB: Tournaments Only
Practice Squad: Trains and participates in events until roster spots are available.
